I have worked with Dr. Lowenstein before and I'm thrilled that he has his own practice now. He's helped me with some skin issues, some cosmetic Botox and just a few days ago he helped my extreme teeth clenching issue with Botox. I didn't know that was a thing. He's so kind and takes the time to listen. He's clear about your options and he's never tried to upsell me. And you can check for yourself....you can't beat his prices. Unbelievable for such high quality work.

Been going here for decades when I found them in SF. Then they expanded to Marin. Since Covid SF office closed down. Started with DR. LT, then DR JB joined. Now the practice is owned by Dr. S. L. and he just as awesome as the last owner/doctors. This practice has treated many in my family as well as friend referrals. The staff is great. The office is comfortable. scheduling and follow-up has never been a problem. Great face and body product available here also, as well as various procedures, treatments. Check them out for your dermatological needs!

Dr. Lowenstein took me at the last minute, without an appointment. It was my first time with him. He was thorough, patient and decisive. His staff was courteous, pleasant and efficient. I’m delighted to be in his care.

Dr. Lowenstein and his Medical Assistant Navyauna are a terrific pair. Here is how I know that.

I recently had a pathology report come back ambiguous with regard to melanoma in a site on my face. Under the
circumstances Dr. Lowenstein elected to take a more complete
tissue sample and made a 2.5 incision in my cheek. Given its placement in a fold on my right cheek it was almost impossible to get a sterile bandage to stay in place. The day after this long incision was made I returned to the office to get some sterile pads and advice. Immediately, Navyauna offered to not just give me a new pad but to replace it herself over the incision site. Immediately, I knew this was a kindness on her part and not standing operating procedure. And that's what a medical office should have in abundance but, in my experience often fails to show.

Exactly a week later I returned so that Dr. Lowenstein could remove the sutures in the incision. The incision itself was healing niclely and already difficult to discern. I mentioned to him that just as a quarterback in the NFL has to be able to throw a pass with great accuracy, so an M.D. cutting into people's faces has to be able to wield a scalpel with great care and precision. The healing and fading of my scar showed me he had great skill with a scalpel.

So together Dr. Lowenstein and Navyauna make a great pair---
kindness and precision in the same treatment package!

Dr. Lowenstein is great. I will miss Dr. Binstock (I’ve been his patient since 1999), but he deserves his retirement! The entire staff in this office is wonderful. Unfortunately for me, I have to go often due to my skin not cooperating with me. Fortunately, the staff is very friendly and professional. This makes for a stress free medical appointment. Live in Reno but came to them as such a good place. Had severe chapping on my bottom lip and they said pre cancer so froze two spots right then so treated on first appointment. Also took a sample of sore on my forehead and will report results of biopsy in two days.

I just had my 3rd basal cell skin cancer removed. I’m including a photo of my nose (procedure was two years ago) because that one could have been so disastrous but turned out great. They know to work with skin contours and my scarring is minimal. Get yourself checked and take care of that sun damage. You will be in excellent hands.
