Neuromodulators for Natural-Looking Facial Rejuvenation
Dysport® and Letybo® are injectable neuromodulators, similar to Botox® Cosmetic, that temporarily relax targeted facial muscles responsible for creating expression lines and wrinkles. By reducing the repetitive muscle movements that contribute to these lines, neuromodulators can create a smoother, more refreshed appearance while preserving natural facial expression.

What Are Dysport and Letybo?
Dysport and Letybo are botulinum toxin type A neuromodulators. Like Botox Cosmetic, they work by temporarily reducing communication between nerves and specifically targeted muscles. When those muscles relax, the overlying skin moves less forcefully, softening existing expression lines and helping prevent them from becoming more deeply etched over time.
Although Dysport, Letybo, and Botox belong to the same general category of treatment, they are distinct products with their own formulations and dosing. During your consultation, we can discuss which product is most appropriate for you.
What Can Neuromodulators Treat?
Neuromodulators are commonly used to soften:
- Frown lines between the eyebrows
- Horizontal forehead lines

How Do Dysport and Letybo Work?
Facial expressions occur when nerves signal muscles to contract. Dysport and Letybo temporarily interrupt this signal within the specifically treated muscles, allowing those muscles to relax.
Because treatment is precisely placed into selected muscles, surrounding facial movement can be preserved. A detailed understanding of facial anatomy is particularly important when performing neuromodulator injections, since even small differences in injection location and dosage can influence the final result.
What Should I Expect During Treatment?
Treatment is performed in the office using a very fine needle and generally takes only a few minutes. Most patients experience minimal discomfort and can return to their normal activities shortly afterward.
Results develop gradually as the treated muscles begin to relax. The effect is temporary, and normal muscle movement progressively returns over time. Periodic treatments can be performed to maintain your desired result.
